Who doesn't want fresh, plump, glowing skin everyday...with added protection from the sun?! I know I do!
I'm not getting any younger, and I know by now how important it is to show my skin some love.
I was first introduced to Josh Rosebrook about 5 years ago, when I tried his Cacao Antioxidant Mask, and loved it so much, I requested an interview. I knew by readers would love him as much as me. He is an intelligent, super gracious master of herbs and knows skin. His booming salon in Beverly Hills can attest to his skills, as does his brilliant line of skin and hair care.
This month, I was introduced to his Nutrient Day Cream SPF 30 and Vital Balm Cream through my Beauty Heroes subscription. Having heard so much about both of these products, and with the Vital Balm Cream having just released--I was excited to say the least!
The Nutrient Day Cream SPF 30 was a perfect addition to my current daytime routine.
It's silky smooth texture glided across my skin, and absorbed effortlessly. I loved the overall look and texture it provided my skin, even after the first 48 hours! While it isn't common to see noticeable results in such a short period of time, I am certainly grateful! Summers here in NC can be brutal, with high temps and humidity sucking the visible life out of one's skin. This day cream remedied that, and gave my skin some of it's luster back. This dual-action day cream acts as both a regenerating moisturizer, and a broad-spectrum sunscreen-- delivering a potent combination of distinct herbal actives and plant oils to repair, moisturize and protect skin. I loved that while the texture of this cream was so luxurious, it dried to a matte finish, allowing makeup to immediately follow if needed.
The Nutrient Day Cream SPF 30 has a white appearance because of the active zinc oxide mineral that provides us much needed sun protection. It dries without a white cast however, because the zinc is a non-nano high macron grade. This provides ultimate natural sun protection, without making you look like a lifeguard.
The Vital Balm Cream is in a class all its own. This unique and powerful moisturizer glides on and breathes like a natural balm, but absorbs and nourishes like a luxury night cream. With organic actives like Aloe Vera and Indian Henna Seed, it's no wonder why this balm is so effective and has already gained a cult following. I noticed that the moisture this balm provided was long-lasting, it helped diminish some of my sun spots, and repaired some of my uneven texture.
I am super happy with the results, and have even tried these products with some of my clients. On a good self care Sunday this past week, I used the Cacao Antioxidant Mask and followed it with the Vital Balm Cream. Even my husband complimented how my skin looked and felt. Winning!
