I have long been a fan of Vapour Organic Beauty. Their makeup products are clean, easy to use and have the most wonderful array of colors. They have taken a non-conventional approach to makeup and skincare--which I love because it allows products to be multi-purpose, and who doesn't love that?!
My favorite lip color is still their Elixer Gloss in Bitten, but check out the new Shiva Rose color--its gorgeous!
I took Jeanne up on an offer for a discount off previous Beauty Hero discoveries, and Vapour Beauty was featured--yay! It included a full-size Soft Focus Skin Perfecting Primer, a full-size Aura Multi-Use in Eros, and a deluxe travel size of the Clarity Organic Makeup Remover.
I've used the Clarity Organic Makeup Remover before, and was excited to see it in a travel size that I could easily pack. This oil cleanser gently removes makeup without stripping the skin, leaving your skin soft and supple. "This all-organic formula includes skin-nourishing and protective ingredients, including organic Jojoba Seed oil, organic Camellia Seed oil, organic Evening Primrose oil, organic Borage oil, organic Helichrysum flowers and organic Horsetail Herb." It even removed my 3 layers of mascara (I love my mascara girl!) without irritating my eyes or making any of my precious lashes fall out.
I may have mentioned once or twice before, that I love multi-purpose products. If I can use it on my lips and my cheeks, bonus! Double points if it is in balm form and good for my skin too. Well, that's exactly what the Aura Multi-Use is! "Aura is infused with Vapour’s proprietary Herbal Enlightenment Complex, to nourish and protect. The convenient stick ensures perfect application of pigment to eyes, lips and cheeks with one easy swipe."
This color Eros (as in Greek mythology, the god of love, son of Aphrodite) is a soft, sexy mauve color with a rich pink undertone. It is gorgeous on any and every one, and leaves a bit of a stain effect, which makes for easy touch ups throughout the day.
Last, but certainly not least is the Stratus Soft Focus Skin Perfecting Primer. This is one of my most favorite products from Vapour Beauty. It does everything you would want a primer to do: evens skin tone, balances texture, and prepares the skin for smooth makeup application. But what's unique about this primer is it comes in three different tones, each with a different purpose. I typically go for the S902 which is for Fair-Med skin with pink or neutral undertones and balances redness/rosacea, which I have a touch of on my cheeks.
This time, I tried the S904 Tone which is for Light-Med skin tones with neutral or olive undertones and balances sallowness. It gave my skin a lovely glow and seemed to catch light differently--giving my skin a brighter appearance. I really loved the effect and as always, my skin was soft and hydrated before my makeup was on.
As always, I loved each of these products, and Vapour Beauty is still at the top of my list. Are you a Vapour fan? What are your favorites?
